Inspiration
Well Summer is finally upon us here in T-O. I apologize for the slew of seemingly random photographs, but I have been inspired lately by bright colours which is somewhat out of my character. On top of that, I have enjoyed changing filters and seeing the difference in shading and colour through Instagram so I thought I might share some of that inspiration with the world. I am quite proud that I am coming out of my shell a little and enjoying the creativity of playing with colours and shapes. Hopefully, you enjoy for now. We’ll have to see what stems from this strange brain going forward…
My sister had these adorable Aztec-styled tips on her nails a few weeks ago and it really inspired me to try something new with my nail polish. These are the colours in the daylight!
Darling flats from Ardene. I kind of love that store when it comes to buying flats. I got these 2 for $20 along with the hot blue pointed flats below. I will have to make a new trip soon for more.
Pair 2 - still adorable but in a different way. These looks fabulous with leggings or jeans. I can’t get over the bright colour - very new for me!
Once I started with the colours, I couldn’t stop. I was a little bored on Saturday night and decided to try some Delta lines on my nails. They did not turn out quite the way I imagined, but in fairness, this was not an easy accomplishment!
I am not quite sure what moved me to add the yellow dots underneath but I really enjoyed the effect it had on the colours. Before the dots, they reminded me of the Ice Truck Killer’s famous nail job! Still cute though - I cannot get enough of my new bright colours - thank you Shoppers Drug Mart for these $1.49 wonders - they are changing my life.
